During skills week we were asked to select a few workshops to attend which would help expand our knowledge on subjects that we hadn't tried before.

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop: During this tutorial we were taught how to create a cut-out using the magnetic lasso tool and quick mask mode.

Introduction to Adobe InDesign: For this exercise we created a magazine double page spread.

Magazine Layout: in this workshop we looked at typical magazine layouts, specifically on fashion, and re created our own double page spread on Alexander McQueen given the title 'McQueen of England'.

Reportage Drawing Techniques: Reportage drawing takes a journalistic approach to illustration, it is often used to document certain things happening or the lives of ordinary people.

Punk Graphics: for this exercise we looked at some famous punk bands from the 70's to inspire us when creating a 'Punk Style' poster advertising an event at the V&A.
