SUMMER PROJECT
Over lockdown we were sent a project to complete under the title of "I am... at home", the brief we received asked us to create 5 individual pieces of work which linked together and exhibited how we spent our time during the pandemic.
To incorporate both fashion and photography I decided to do 5 photoshoots which would each display a different experience or activity I endured during the months I spent at home, I then used the final photos to create a series of magazine covers titled "LOCKDOWN".

LOCKDOWN, MARCH 2020
For my first magazine cover I wanted to make it really relatable for those out there that found themselves overspending out of boredom. I selected some clothes, bags and shoes from both mine and my sisters wardrobes and stacked them up to create a tower giving the impression of an overflowing closet.

LOCKDOWN, APRIL 2020
This cover was made to show how we managed to keep the fun in ordinary every day tasks, such as putting on a full face of make up and getting dressed up just to go grocery shopping. For this look I styled my sister Lily in a baby pink silky robe which had faux fur at the sleeves, I also chose to put her hair up in rollers to emphasise how long the process of getting ready can be.

LOCKDOWN, MAY 2020
During lockdown most people found themselves furiously baking (particularly banana bread for some reason).
For this shoot I took inspiration from the typical 60's housewife, Lily is wearing a cornflower blue polka dot dress and bright red lipstick to achieve the desired look.

LOCKDOWN, JUNE 2020
With so much spare time on our hands it was the perfect opportunity to catch up on a few series. One of the most popular being "Tiger King". It also encouraged a lot of indulging hence the pink G&T in hand.

LOCKDOWN, JULY 2020
As a result of gyms closing, lots of people resorted to home workouts and used their time in lockdown to get fit and healthy. This could be achieved by investing in work out equipment, watching fitness videos or perhaps even trying out new diets. This look required a lot of blusher.
GROUP MAPPING PROJECT
As a group we were given the option of six different titles to choose from under the topic of 'Mapping', my team and I chose 'A journey from A to B'.
We decided to use photography as a way of recording the typical daily commute a student might make from St Davids train station to Exeter College campus. Our four significant landmarks included the station itself, St Davids church, Exeter Clocktower and of course the final destination Exeter College.
Through these images we wanted to express a somewhat subdued sense of emotion, in order to achieve this we decided to shoot in black and white which creates a more mundane atmosphere throughout.
